Demand has never been higher and more feverish but finally, Irish singer-songwriter Hozier is giving in. This 2024, the "Take Me to Church" hitmaker has confirmed 20 additional dates for his "Unreal Unearth" Tour. Join the concert to witness Hozier and guest artist Allison Russell at the Paycom Center, Oklahoma, on September 26th!
The tour is a year-long engagement to promote the third studio album of the same name here in the United States. Hozier's latest release, Unreal Unearth, dropped in August of last year and ranked into the #1 spot on both UK and Irish charts as well as Billboard's Folk, Alternative, and Rock album lists. As the evening's centerpiece, expect a familiar yet audacious Hozier, whose Dante's Inferno inspirations navigate between torrential and twang in his hits such as "First Time," "Abstract," "First Light," "Damage Gets Done" and "Anything But."
"The songs are a little more sonically complex. We have synth lines and string lines, and having a cello and violin player at the same time creates a miniature string section," the singer described the album in an interview.
Not one to act coy, the two-time Billboard Music Award winner and multi-platinum holder also promises fan-favorite cuts from his previous albums, "Hozier" and "Wasteland, Baby!" Sing along to his moody "Work Song" blues, the anthemic "Nina Cried Power," and of course, the worldwide phenomenon of the GRAMMY-nominated "Take Me to Church" smash hit.
To excite you further, the evening's special opening act will point the spotlight to Canadian folk artist Allison Russell, renowned for classic singles, "Nightflyer," "The Returner," and more recently, the GRAMMY Award-winning "Eve Was Black."
As for the venue, we present the Paycom Center, home of the NBA's Oklahoma City Thunder. The glorious and newly-renovated venue has deluxe seats, cutting-edge video displays, and a sound system that will enhance your concert experience.
